Yes, As a service to our patients, primary insurance is billed. We have recently enhanced our system to accommodate automatic billing of secondary insurance. Please be sure to keep us informed of your insurance coverage. It is the responsibility of the patient to pay for any services not covered by their insurance.
No, Family Walk-In Clinic does not offer any after hours care. All patients should call 911 for any life-threatening emergencies. Any non-life-threating emergencies that do not require immediate attention will be managed during our normal office hours. If there is an issue that cannot wait until the clinic is open our patients are instructed to go to a local urgent care facility or emergency department and follow up during our regular office hours.
Yes, we accept Colorado Medicaid. We do not take any Medicaid from any other state.
Yes, we are happy to see any patient who is unable to get into their regular provider and will forward records from your visit to your regular provider at your request. We do not have to be your primary care provider to provide you care when you need it.
Yes, our providers training and specialty is in family medicine and primary care.
We do not have any pediatricians on staff. All of our practitioners are primary care providers trained to care for children and adults.
Our providers try to take care of as much as they can in a single visit but in most instances time does not allow for multiple complaints during a single visit. In these circumstances it becomes important for the patient and provider to identify the most important issue and develop a treatment plan. This plan of care affords the provider proper time to address the most important complaints and develop an appropriate and safe treatment plan for the patient. Other less serious complaints can be managed on subsequent visits and follow-up visits
Yes, physical exams can be done on a walk-in basis. Chronic care and medication refills will not be done during a physical exam appointment/visit.
Yes we offer in office COVID-19 antigen testing when supplies are available. Please call to confirm supply status. If rapid testing is not available we are able to offer COVID-19 PCR testing which can take up to 5 days for results depending on how busy the lab is.
Yes, we offer the Moderna vaccine series as well as boosters.
